Give NotiCord Access in Notion

If a page or database is missing in NotiCord, it usually means Notion access is not shared with the NotiCord connection.

If your Notion token expired or your workspace is disconnected, setup pages now show a dedicated error with a direct Connect/Reconnect Notion button to Settings.

Step 1: Open Notion connection access

  1. Click Settings (left sidebar).
  2. Go to Connections.
  3. Find NotiCord and click .
  4. Select "Select page access".

Step 2: Grant access

  1. In the access modal, select the pages or databases you want NotiCord to see.
  2. Click Confirm.
  3. In NotiCord, open a database picker (Notifications or Tasks):
    • With the dropdown open, use the search box to find matching database names.
    • Click Refresh list.
    • If the database is still missing, click Database missing? Paste URL or ID, then paste a database or data source URL/ID and click Use. If a database has multiple data sources, choose the one you want from the dropdown.
    • First loads can take up to ~30 seconds. After access is granted or a new Notion database is created, it may take up to 1 minute to show in the list.
⏱️ Access Propagation Delay
After access is granted or a new Notion database is created, it may take up to 1 minute to show in the list. First list loads can also take up to ~30 seconds.

Still missing?

If the item still doesn't appear:

  • Re-open Settings → Connections → NotiCord and confirm access is granted.
  • Try Refresh list again, or open Database missing? Paste URL or ID and click Use with a database or data source URL/ID.
  • Retry for up to 1 minute after access changes.
  • If you are not the workspace owner, ask an admin to grant access.
  • If setup shows "NotiCord can't access that database in Notion":
    • Confirm the database still exists (it may have been deleted).
    • Share that specific database with your connected NotiCord integration.
    • Wait up to 1 minute, click Refresh list, then retry the URL/ID.

"Sent with warning" in Notification History

If Notification History shows Sent with warning and says page content preview could not be included:

  • The Discord notification was sent successfully.
  • NotiCord could not read part of the page body in Notion.
  • Most often this is nested or linked content that is not shared with the NotiCord integration.

To fix it, open Settings → Connections → NotiCord → Select page access and share the related nested pages/databases too.
